JOB TITLE: Human Resources Generalist
·         The Human Resources Generalist will work collaboratively with the Senior HR Business Partner providing superior human resource support to our employees and work as a business partner in achieving facility objectives.
·         This position will support a broad range of human resource activities and initiatives including leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, HRIS maintenance, recruitment and selection, equal employment, employee relations and policy interpretation.
·         This is a “hands on” position that requires interaction and visibility with all levels of the organization.
·         TARGETED OUTCOMES Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive workforce development strategy. Support efforts to bring new talent into the organization by ensuring a successful candidate experience and an effective selection process. Partner with talent development specialist and department leaders to assess and grow the leadership capability of front-line leaders.
·         REPORTS TO Senior Human Resources Business Partner
·         KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate recruitment activities to include: working with assigned recruiters, posting positions, scheduling, arranging travel and candidate correspondence. Screen hourly applicants and forward qualified candidate resumes to hiring manager. Oversee onboarding process and conduct orientation for new hires Assist with the development and implementation of workforce forecasts and plans, including essential resourcing and selection activities. Create and implement communications.
·         Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource Management, Organization Design, or related discipline.
·         3+ years of relevant experience in the Human Resources arena, including sound employee relations background.
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
·         Customer focused, must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills.
·         Sound knowledge and understanding of U.S. employment laws and practices, including but not limited to FMLA, FLSA, and payroll.
·         Preferred experience in HRIS data systems and application tracking systems and excellent ability to effectively use Microsoft applications Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations in a collaborative/inclusive fashion Listens actively to others and assimilates their input and views and respects and relates well to others from varied backgrounds Maintains confidentiality at all times Encourages and respects the contribution of others at all levels in the team; and also works as an excellent team player with a positive outlook and professional integrity. Simultaneously, also able to work independently where applicable and excel in multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.  
·         Master’s degree in Human Resources or other Business discipline is preferred PHR/SPHR Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired
