JOB TITLE: Reliability Engineer
·         Provide day-to-day reliability engineering services in support of plant equipment breakdowns, diagnosing failure modes and prescribing repair procedures.
·         Utilize root cause analysis including formal failure incident investigations and documentation when appropriate.
·         Provide support to ensure compliance with the Mechanical Integrity Program, Tank Inspection Program and other safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements.
·         Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement to the maintenance management system database by entering/updating equipment data and by developing/entering/updating preventive maintenance procedures for plant equipment.
·         Utilize RCM (reliability centered maintenance) methodology for plant equipment and process; such as Asset Maintenance Strategy, Unplanned Downtime Tracking, etc.
·         Provide ongoing support and technical leadership for the Predictive Maintenance program; including and future enhancements to the vibrations analysis, infrared thermography and lubrication management efforts.
·         Provide maintenance project management leadership including development of maintenance related cost improvement efforts; also provide maintenance technical support on plant capital projects.
·         Provide technical support for shop repair of major plant equipment and field inspection of new equipment fabrication.
·         Manage maintenance resources or contractors during outages or project implementation.
·         Provide technical support to maintenance planning and scheduling functions.
·         Continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for maintenance.
·         B.S. Engineering or related discipline, B.S.M.E. preferred
·         Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Maintenance and Reliability Best Practices in a manufacturing environment
·         Strong engineering, analytical and problem-solving skills, including RCA/RCFA
·         Proficient with the RCM methodology, RCA/RCFA, FMEA, MRO, preventive maintenance, corrective actions, predictive technologies, and mechanical integrity.
·         Effective communication and leadership skills, working as a team player and mentor
·         Background in Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), SAP preferred
·         Experience in problem analysis and rotating equipment troubleshooting, preferred
·         Experience in vibration analysis, lubrication and thermography preferred
·         Experience with Lean tools and leading cost improvement activities
·         Minimal travel required
